Learn French Cards App Reviews

Love it!

I love the app! It is much less boring than the other French flash card apps. I like the sounds the animals make and the pictures are great. I would recommend allowing progress to be saved when exiting the app (app returns to the beginning of the word list) and yes, including the articles to the words would be great, maybe in parentheses. The last part isnt critical; I can look them up and saying them may make the app a little more boring. Great app overall and I love how many words are included!

French card

Very helpful

Im taking French 2 and this Is a awesome app it doesnt have determiners though but still good as a resource

I love it!

Its fun to play and receive positive reinforcement. its so cheerful, especially when the voice says, "ou la la!" I highly recommend it for beginners of any age.

French

Not a bad app but it needs to include wether the word is masculine or feminine.

Lots of fun

Not only for children. A great way to learn for anyone.

FEMININE VS. MASCULINE

If it only told u if things were feminine or masculine, thatd be great.

Also for ADULTS!

Im an adult and beginning with the absolute basics. The visual and verbal use makes it easy, even for us grown up kids!

Very nice. My 6 year old granddaughter usually follows the pronunciations easily. Only negative is that the words are pronounced quickly. It would be nice for an option to hear the words enunciated by syllables.

Pretty cool!!! Fun and easy

Thank you so much for this awesome app !!! this app is fun and easy to learn

No genders?

This app could be great to expand basic vocabulary, but is of little use without la and le to indicate the gender of the nouns.

One drawback need to be corrected.

It is a useful app, BUT it has one huge drawback: there in NO INDICATION of "le", "la" which are the french equivalents for "the". As French makes a distinction between masculine and feminine objects, people use "le"/ "un" for masculine things/persons and "la"/ "une" for feminine things/persons. When learning words in French it is crucial to learn them with gender understanding ("le"/"un" ,"la"/"une" before every noun). Without understanding what gender the word is, you will not be able to construct phrases and sentences correctly. You may sound awkward.

Good but

The sound just stops working at time

Love!! Easy to learn for all ages

I use this free app and I am 33 yrs old! I am trying to learn since my kids goto a French immersion school. My 2 yr Old also uses this very frequently and has learned so much from it! She has been using it for about 6 months and at first it was just to look at the pictures but now she actually interacts with it repeating the words! I am purchasing the full version and hope they continue to add to it! Highly recommend!!

Great App for Toddlers
